NWA 2871This meteorite is a very rare type of primitive achondrite called an Acapulcoite after a meteorite which fell in the city of Acapulco Mexico. The Acapulcoites are related to the Lodranites, some with relict chondrules. The meteorite weighed 3,467 grams and was weathering level 3. These are very rare and little understood meteorites.Purchased August 2005 in Erfoud, Morocco Primitive achondrite (Acapulcoite)
