Mangwendi

This meteorite fell on March 7, 1934 at 12:45 pm in Mashonaland, Zimbabwe. It is a rare (LL6) amphoterite, brecciated chondrite. A single mass fell on the bank of the Shawanoya river. Virtually ALL of this meteorite is in museum collections. The main mass is in the British Museum Collection, where these pieces came from. Get it now or forget about owning it. Very little was traded out. These are pristine pieces, with a gorgeous white brecciated interior and fresh black fusion crust. I have sold all but these last three pieces.

Mangwendi 1: 24.68 gram partslice with fusion crust. $740.00

Mangwendi 2: 22.22 gram partslice with fusion crust. $665.00
