This  iron was found in 1952 near near Fort Stockton in Pecos County, Texas. It is a Medium octahedrite. Only one mass of 4,700 grams was found. The meteorite is oriented and still has some black fusion crust in areas. The entire meteorite was in the TCU collection where this slice was acquired from.
