Pena Blanca Spring

This extremely rare meteorite fell on August 2, 1946 in the afternoon in Brewster County, Texas. Two masses fell into a pond on a ranch while the ranch-hands were eating lunch. They immediately jumped into the water and pulled both masses out! Pena Blanca Spring is a beautiful and very rare Aubrite, of which there are only 16 known on the planet!

These pieces were cut from Bob Haag's private collection piece.
