Hessle

Stone, chondrite, (H5). This meteorite fell on January 1, 1869 at 12:30 pm in Uppsala, Sweden. A shower of stones fell weighing from 1.8 kilogram down to just a few grams, with a total known weight of ~15 kilograms. This is a difficult European fall to acquire.
